Aspen Saturday Market
WOW, I have had such a great time at my local Saturday market so far this summer-- lots of returm customers, as well as new one-- coming in to tell me they say the bags at stores, in airports, in Title Nine, The Container Store, etc.. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
The best was this 8 year old girl from Sacramento, who told me she has wanted an OlovesM bag since seeing them at the Fleet Feet Store near her house- and when she was coming to Aspen, she saw 5 people in the San Fransico Airport with them, so she was determined to find one in Aspen-- well she did!!! A very special min FAB tote, which I only sell at the market:) *** but we LOVE Fleet Feet Sacramento store-- so be sure to pop over and check out the bags there****
We Saw Mom's Bags!!!
I was in Grand Junction Colorado with my boys, and while we were waiting to go to the lacrosse field, we made a few pit stops, when we were walking out of a store, Ben yelled that he saw a bag!!! He kept yelling it, and I ran over and sure enough, a nice lady was telling my son how much she loved her bag, and he was so proud to let her know his mommy made them:) Honestly, that was the best Mother's Day gift!!!!

Hi, I had to email to let you know my daughter LOVES your bags!!! I gave her one as a gift for her 10th birthday, the eco-clutch, and she loved it so much, she went to your website and read up, and then got so excited about yoga and that your idea popped into your head while in class, she started to go to a kids yoga class!! She also wrote a report about the bags for school and her environmental ed class.

I was just in Las Vegas for a trade show, and how fun to have a buyer come to my booth and let me know she had a customer come into her store the day before she was leaving for the WWIN show, which is where I was, and ask her to please start carrying the OlovesM Bag line-- guess what, she bought some for her store!!!

I have been meaning to send an email to you for months! I bought one of the new 'Slider' bags back in January at a Mother's of Preschoolers event in Bedford, New York. I became a mom in August of 2008, so I've found myself carrying a large diaper bag full of supplies everywhere I go! But, the Slider is the perfect size for one diaper, a small pack of wipes, and my wallet. So, when I need to run out in a hurry with my daughter, I can throw that over my shoulder and know that I'll be stylish, eco-friendly, but still have what I need without lugging the huge diaper bag along.
So, thanks for helping me be eco-friendly and stylish all while being a good mom!

OK so I will tell you! Too cool! I found your bag at Acacia, and friends at work who did not even see the bag but just heard about the concept you have, loved the idea. I found your site, and am passing it on. Wonderful idea, great bags, glad you are around, may you prosper and continue your good work!
I really think the idea of reinventing uses for materials that could otherwise end up in the landfill is always good, and your idea for converting yoga mats into bags of all sorts, sizes and colors is creative and ingenious. I am already putting my carryall to use at the grocery store!

Yep, OlovesM Eco Bags are all made in Colorado!! I had a call today from a really nice person who called right from a store to ask!! It was so nice to let her know,
YES, they are all made here in the USA:)
I have also worked super hard to find fabrics made in the USA, as well other parts of the bag:)
I agree with the wonderful gal who called, I need to put MADE IN THE USA all over my hangtag and website!!!
Bags-Boats-& Wine Tasting!

The other day, I had a bag buyer call to tell me this wonderful OlovesM story-- while on a wine tasting trip in Eurpoe, Cheri had an OlovesM encounter!
While on an evening wine tasting dinner boat trip, Cheri, had someone come up to her and say, where did you get that bag? (Cheri was carrying her OlovesM Large bernie bag) The women, said I have one to, and told her how she had bought it from this wonderful girl named Merle at the Aspen Saturday Market!!
Cheri told me how fun it was to meet someone out of the clear blue and have a purse in common! Both women had so much fun talking about their bags, tasting great wine, and decided they needed another OlovesM bag once they got back from their wonderful trip!

I met with my long time camp friend Sue last week, and she told me how she had bought the Merle Tote for her sister -who has twins and seems to carry a TON of stuff! Her sister, Amy, was so excited, since the Merle Tote can withstand spilled milk, mushed bananas, and jellies:)
Seems that Amy called Sue a week after getting her OlovesM bag, and said she loved it so much could she get another to use for work-- she is a lawyer and all her briefs fit into the tote and she can carry it to court!
